What our team ‘added to cart’ in August
Shopping22.08.2025

You know that feeling when you come across something that just fits – the scent that feels like you, or the hair product that finally gets it right? We live for those little discoveries. This month, we’re rounding up the things our team can’t stop raving about, from the everyday essentials to the unexpected delights we didn’t know we needed.
Left on Friday two-piece
Jen’s best bathing suit

This summer, I stumbled across a Left on Friday pop-up in Muskoka – and left with a swimsuit I haven’t stopped talking about.
At 41, finding a suit that makes me feel confident without making me feel constricted is rare. This Canadian brand – founded in 2018 by Shannon Savage and Laura Low Ah Kee – has nailed it. Their signature fabric somehow manages to be both non-restrictive and gently compressive. No padding, no underwires, no annoying seams. Just smooth, flattering support in the most fun colours you’ve ever seen.
And here’s the magic: you forget you’re even wearing it. Whether you’re swimming, paddle boarding, or chasing kids on the dock, it stays in place and feels incredible. It’s swimwear designed for real life, by women who clearly get it.
Salt & Stone Bergamot & Hinoki Body and Hair Fragrance Mist
Lisa’s signature fragrance

There’s nothing I love more than a warm, earthy fragrance so when I heard about this Salt & Stone option I had to go check it out. And WOW, it did not disappoint.
With notes of Bergamot, Orange Blossom and Hinoki this is the perfect summer fragrance, but somehow is warm and musky enough to carry into the fall. I apply this in the morning and even by the afternoon, the notes are still lingering! They also carry the scent as lotion, deodorant, and body wash if perfume isn’t your thing, which I will certainly be buying as well!
I also noticed they just dropped a new Saffron and Cedar line, so you bet I’ll be checking that out next month!
OneBlade electric razor
Mikka’s favourite gadget

Okay, I have to give a shoutout to my OneBlade electric razor because it is my ultimate summer (lets be real, year around) lifesaver.
Picture this: I’m about to run out the door, shoes on, bag in hand, and I look down at my legs to realize I completely forgot to shave. (The worst feeling, right?) Normally, that’s panic mode. But with the OneBlade? Two minutes flat and I’m done. No water, no soap, no mess. Just smooth, bump-free legs that don’t feel like they’re going to break out in razor burn five seconds later.
And honestly, that’s why I’ll never go back to a classic blade. No matter how much I exfoliate or prep, I’ve always been cursed with itchy, painful razor burn. To the point where I would go literal weeks avoiding shaving my armpits because I just couldn’t handle the irritation. I’m all for letting the hair grow free, but sometimes you just want that silky, close shave feeling without suffering for it.
I became a full convert a few years ago while traveling around New Zealand in a van and lost my razor. So I “borrowed” my boyfriend’s OneBlade and… yeah, never gave it back. Instant obsession.
Long story short: this little gadget has saved the day more times than I can count, and it’s hands-down my go-to. If you want quick, easy, irritation-free smooth skin? OneBlade is it.
Redken Shine Flash
Catherine’s hair obsession

I have a lot of hair… but I hate having product in it. However, I was recently introduced to Redken’s Shine Flash, and let me tell you, this product left my hair shining for days afterwards. I was so impressed that I actually went back to the salon to buy some for myself, because who doesn’t need a little extra shine on top?
